Full property description

  • A beautifully presented three bedroom home situated on the fringes of Ripley village within a small gated development. The property benefits from two parking spaces, secluded rear garden, field views and access to a communal paddock.

To the ground floor, the kitchen is large enough for a table and benefits from a bay window to the front complete with shutters, built-in appliances and granite worksurfaces. The sitting room is a nice bright room with a focal fireplace, under-stair storage and French doors to the garden. Upstairs to the first floor there are two double bedrooms, both with en-suite bath/shower rooms and the master bedroom boasts a Juliette balcony with farmland views. On the second floor is a further bedroom and the current owners have added a lovely en-suite toilet fitted to a modern standard with high gloss fronted storage units.

The rear garden has been landscaped with ease of maintenance in mind with a patio which leads to an area of Astro-turf. The property benefits from two parking spaces and is situated in a secure gated development of nine properties. There is the added benefit of a communal paddock, great for young families and social gatherings.

The property is located in the area of Burnt Common which lies on the borders of Send, Ripley and West Clandon. Within a short walk is the local 'Mini Waitrose' with the well stocked farm shop found a bit further away. The two local pubs are the Jovial Sailor and the Saddlers Arms and the sailing lakes can be found a short drive away.

Send Village is a short distance away and offers some local shops for one's day to day needs as well as a highly rated & modern medical centre, a pharmacy and two pubs - one of which is situated on the Wey Navigation Canal. There is a good infant/primary school in the village with excellent secondary schools nearby. The neighbouring village of Ripley, with its more comprehensive array of shopping facilities and country pubs is a short distance, while Woking and Guildford towns are also within easy reach.

The area has excellent road and rail connections with the A3 and Junction 10 of the M25 orbital being within close proximity.
