How you can win £2000 for a charitable cause just by showing off your skills
Have you got a secret skill or hidden talent? Could you be the next viral superstar and win £2000 for a chosen charity or cause?
If the answer is yes then we have the challenge for you!
Seymours Estate Agents have launched their brand new I’ve Got Skills Challenge to give back to the local community and allow people across the UK a chance to show off their skills and talents online.
The skill could be anything from skateboarding to knitting or magic tricks to cheerleading and all you need to do to get involved is film your skill and then upload it.
Challenge videos can be uploaded to Facebook or Twitter using #Seymours and #Ivegotskills to enter the competition and remember to tag your chosen charity or cause.
The rules are simple. The person or team in the video with the most likes and shares will be crowned the winners at the end of the competition on June 30 2017.
The I’ve Got Skills champions will then be awarded a whopping £2000 to donate to their chosen charity or organisation.
The cause is completely your choice but it does have to be charitable or a non-profit organisation. Details about the challenge can be found on the Seymours Estate Agents Facebook Page.
So, get all your friends, family and work colleagues to like and share the video and you could be in with chance of winning the prize money and becoming an online star.
The challenge which launches on April 1 2017 has already had a number of entries from a variety of people including a drama group, a busker, a cheerleading squad, an office dog and a girl on a pogo-stick.
The process is easy! All you need to do is get someone to film you performing your skill and remember to introduce yourself, the challenge and chosen cause or organisation.
Seymours Estate Agents have launched the competition to give back to the community and want to highlight the skills and talents of the people in the local area and across the UK.
Since launching in 1992, the business which has a network of 17 independently-owned offices across Surrey and Hampshire, has donated thousands of pounds to charities including Macmillan Cancer Support.
The award-winning Estate Agents have also scooped a number of prizes for their work including the Mayor’s Award at the 2015 Surrey Property Awards. Seymours were also named ‘Best Estate Agent in the South’ by The Guild of Professional Estate Agents in 2016 and 2017.
David Driscoll, Director of Seymours Dorking said: "The I've Got Skills Challenge is a great way for the local community to get involved and really show off what they are good at.
“The videos are about having fun so it doesn't have to be perfect. For my skill video I did some keepy-uppies with a football and a very poor magic trick so it really can be whatever you want!
“Hopefully we will get to see some unusual and interesting talents.
