There are also several churches in the village catering for different religions. The surrounding countryside includes the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty for walking and riding. Every year the Cranleigh & South Eastern Agricultural Society hold the Cranleigh Show, which is a traditional agricultural event. Cranleigh is well placed for road links to Gatwick Airport with a fast rail network to London available at Guildford, Woking, Godalming and Horsham.
