As the longest-standing owner in what is now a 15-strong estate agency brand, having launched the Guildford office of Seymours in 1992, I have witnessed first hand the changes – some small, some large – to hit the property market over the last few decades.
In fact, the doors to the Guildford office weren’t open that long after the well-documented financial crisis when interest rates reached a staggering 15%.
Skip forward 23 years and Seymours can be found across all four corners of West Surrey with the latest office to open, in Farnham, extending our reach even further.
And despite the ups and downs of the South East property market, the typical issues around supply and demand and the crisis that hit the UK in 2008, there is one thing that has remained consistent – and that’s Seymours’ commitment to ensuring that ALL our customers receive only the very best in customer service.
From providing excellent local knowledge and a professional approach to property marketing to simply providing a trusted soundboard for those who, as is often the case, find selling their property a challenging experience, we feel that we’ve earned our position as one of Surrey’s leading estate agents. And homeowners would agree, too, which has been evidenced by the prestigious Surrey Property Awards that we have won over the last four years.
And this brings me to the reason for my blog, which is the fact that the deadline for the Surrey Property Awards is approaching (31st October) and we want to make all of our supporters, including our current and former clients, aware that they have the chance to have their say and nominate Seymours for the Best Estate Agency Award.
If Seymours has made you happy over the last 12 months then we would really appreciate it if you could nominate us for the 2015 award.
Seymours won the Award for Best Marketing and Presentation in 2014 and 2013, continuing our success from 2012 and 2011 when we won the Award for Best Multi Branch Independent Estate Agency and the Award for Best Medium Estate Agent respectively. We’re now hoping that you can help us make it for the fifth year, too.
All it takes is less than a minute and you can nominate us here: http://surreypropertyawards.co.uk/vote.
