A new study has shown the premium some parents pay to move close to the best schools

A new study has revealed that parents wishing to move from the successful admission area of a school that ‘requires improvement’, to a school rated ‘outstanding’, the premium stands at £52,000 in England. 
With 86% of outstanding state primary schools oversubscribed in England, the competition for places is driving up the asking price for parents wanting to secure a place.
